ACADEMIC COURSEWORK

CEUs may be awarded for coursework for college credit taken at an accredited institution during the participant’s current CMP cycle. Accreditation must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the U.S. or the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education in the European Union. Successful completion is defined as receiving a minimum letter grade of “C” (2.0) or above. CEUs can be processed retro-actively, as long as it is taken and completed within the participants’ current CMP Cycle.

An Academic Coursework application must be submitted before the end of the CEU cycle in which the coursework was taken. Keep in mind that every member's cycle ends on a December 31st and the end of the year is high volume for our volunteers processing paperwork. NAOBI-DC appreciates submissions of transcripts as they are earned.

  • Semester = 1.5 CEUs/credit hour (i.e., a 3 credit course = 4.5 CEUs)
